Hoher Kasten - Sämtisersee - Plattenbödeli - Ruhesitz - Brülisau

In just eight minutes, the Hoher Kasten cableway carries you from Brülisau up to 1794 m above sea level, where you can look forward to unique views of six countries. From there you'll go downhill toward Staubern. When you reach Wenneli, start descending towards the lake Sämtisersee and you can take a break at the Plattenbödeli mountain inn. After that keep going down the flat trail across the Alp Soll (you can buy regional cheese there) and you'll also pass the Ruhesitz mountain inn. Here, you can recharge your batteries once more for the rest of the hike. But tired hikers can also glide down the rest of the path with a scooter. Finally, you’ll arrive back in Brülisau.
